Sarah Chaney Wright has been in the interior design and contract furniture industry for approximately 15 years, spending the majority of her career in Chicago. As ICE’s new Design Director, she has a strong background: a Master’s Degree in Interior Design, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Theatre and experience educating the interior design profession on a collegiate level for over 5 years. Mrs. Wright has an NCIDQ Certification (Certificate No. 027240), is a registered Interior Designer and an active IIDA member. Sarah applies her relentless work ethic, determined passion and creative initiative to all aspects of her career to drive inventive functional design, operational improvements and positively impact culture.
Sarah has extensive interior design, project management and leadership experience in architectural, furniture and demountable walls projects, with focus on large scale corporate annuity accounts. She thrives in leading teams through all phases of the design process to execute complex architectural projects, multi-floor/location developments and phased installations, both domestically and internationally. She also specializes in internal corporate operations, goal development, change leadership, mentorship, strategic planning, growth initiatives and implementation, budgeting, financial analysis and RFP execution.
When Sarah is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, singing, musical theatre, biking, reading, scuba diving, traveling, and being involved with her church. Mrs. Wright prospers when challenged and has the understanding and technical skillsets to effectively integrate ICE with A&D firms, end users, the real estate community and general contractors.
