The Installer is responsible for the assembly, delivery, and installation of modular office furniture systems, casegoods, and related products. This hands-on position works under the direction of the Lead Installer to ensure all installations are completed accurately, safely, and professionally in accordance with company and client standards.

Your Key Role & Responsibilities
Installation & Assembly
Assemble and install modular systems furniture, workstations, private offices, conference tables, and seating.
Follow installation drawings, floor plans, and manufacturer specifications.
Safely use hand and power tools to ensure precise and secure assembly.
Load, unload, and move product using dollies, carts, and lifts while protecting client property.
Disassemble, move, and reassemble furniture for reconfigurations or relocations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist in post-installation cleanup.
Teamwork & Communication
Work collaboratively under the guidance of the Lead Installer and Project Management team.
Communicate progress, questions, and issues clearly and respectfully.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, contractors, and building personnel.
Support crew efficiency and help identify opportunities for improvement on site.
Safety & Quality
Adhere to company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
Inspect tools and equipment before use; report issues immediately.
Perform all work with a focus on quality, accuracy, and damage prevention.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in commercial furniture installation or related trades preferred (training available).
Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of installation tools and hardware.
Ability to read basic installation drawings and take accurate measurements.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Preferences
Familiarity with Steelcase, Herman Miller, Knoll, Teknion, or similar product lines.
Forklift or scissor-lift certification.
Basic understanding of power/data routing in systems furniture.
